Höhere technische Bundes-Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt (HTBLuVA) Wiener Neustadt

The HTL Wiener Neustadt is the second largest vocational school in Lower Austria for civil engineering after the HTBLuVA Mödling, the largest HTL in Austria (there is also the HTL Krems), and with the HTBLuVA St. Pölten, HTL Hollabrunn and HTBLuVA Waidhofen/Ybbs one of those for mechanical and electrical engineering. In 2020, 56 classes with around 1,300 students were taught by 135 teachers.

The Höhere department comprises the subjects of mechanical engineering (with a focus on automation technology), civil engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. There is also a technical college for electrical engineering and a day college specializing in energy technology, environment and sustainability. The technical college for professionals and the colleges for professionals specialize in civil engineering (focus on structural engineering), electrical engineering (focus on information technology or energy technology and industrial electronics) and mechanical engineering (focus on automation technology).
